There are more than 3,200 hours of sunshine a year, and an average temperature of 23 ºC, which brings with it mild winters and summer nights with a tropical atmosphere.

Águilas is also a spectacular point of interest for diving.

In addition to offering excellent areas to enjoy diving, the city of Águilas is offered as an excellent option to practice all kinds of water sports: windsurfing, light sailing or canoeing. In recent years, the city has become a benchmark in the practice of triathlon, having hosted several national competitions.
